FACT SHEET

Overview: The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is a major entertainment destination located on 100 acres of the Hollywood Reservation of the Seminole Tribe of Florida and is South Florida’s newest and grandest resort hotel and casino. Arriving guests are greeted by the hotel’s tropical landscaping and 50-foot tall neon signature Hard Rock guitar, modeled after the one played by Jimi Hendrix and fountains at the entrance of the hotel and casino. In keeping with the Hard Rock theme, the hotel and casino showcase signed, one-of-a-kind pieces of music memorabilia, plus a massive “Tower of Power” casino bar that includes a multi-media entertainment extravaganza. A Seminole cultural retail store is located at the main entrance, near the guest registration lobby and reception desk.

Guestrooms and Suites: The hotel includes 500 luxury guestrooms and suites designed to meet 4-star, 4-daimond standards in a 15-story Mediterranean-style hotel tower that encircles the 4-acre pool complex. All Seminole Hard Rock Hotel guestrooms include unique extras like Tivoli stereo and CD systems, and ultra-luxury beds. Typical guestrooms have natural daylight to the bathrooms, separate enclosures for tub and shower and fully-stocked mini bars, as well as hairdryers, personal safes, coffee makers, three telephones, T1 direct Internet access, bath robes and an iron and ironing boards.

Casino: Opening directly from the main entrance is the 130,000 sq. ft. casino, designed in a “club” environment. The casino includes 65 poker tables and more than 2,000 of the latest electronic gaming machines, including Double Diamond, Red White & Blue, Double Wild Cherry and Five Times Pay.

Pool Complex: A 4-acre lagoon-style pool area of more than 19,000 square feet snakes around the pool bar nestled in a rock mountain, which provides a dramatic backdrop to a waterslide and elevated spa. The pool features waterfalls, a lazy river, hot tubs and a shallow kiddie pool with play features. Poolside cabanas equipped with televisions and refrigerators surround the swimming pool. Landscaping creates a lush and tropical oasis, with dramatic tree plantings and colorful masses of flowers and shrubs.

Spa and Golf: The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino includes Contour Spa, a 20,000 sq. ft. full-service, luxury European-style spa adjacent to the pool area. Golf is available at a nearby 18-hole championship course.

Restaurants and Lounges: The focal point for dining and entertainment is a 9,600 sq. ft. Hard Rock Cafe. The hotel also includes a restaurant for all-day dining. The 3,000 sq. ft. Pool Bar is the entertainment hub of the pool area. It features a lounge area with a stage for day and evening shows. The Casino Center Bar is elevated and surrounds a metal “Tower of Power” multimedia center. A rock & roll theme is incorporated into the 250-seat Food Court. Additional restaurants and nightclubs are included in the nearby retail and entertainment complex.

Meeting Space: More than 100,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space is available, including a 16,000 square foot grand ballroom divisible into eight sections and several smaller rooms for breakouts or board meetings. A 7,000 sq. ft. poolside function area is also available. The complex also includes a multi-purpose space suitable for exhibitions, concerts and sporting events. Rock and roll memorabilia is integrated into perimeter walls of meeting room spaces.

The Promenade: Guests stroll between major activity centers along a Promenade, which connects the casino, guestroom elevators, Hard Rock Cafe and Hard Rock retail store, pool area, restaurants, meeting space and parking garage.

Shopping: Guests will enjoy shopping opportunities throughout the resort and at an adjacent 300,000 sq. ft. outdoor entertainment center that includes restaurants, nightclubs and the hippest retail shops, all wrapped around a lake with a fountain showpiece and a novel wall of water that becomes a massive nighttime projection screen. The complex also includes a Seminole Tribe cultural center and museum, plus a Seminole Tribe gift shop.

Owner/Manager: The Seminole Tribe of Florida owns and operates the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, according to terms of a licensing agreement with Hard Rock Cafe International. Hard Rock Cafe International, a unit of Rank Group Plc, currently oversees full-service hotels in Orlando, Bali and Thailand, and is also developing a new Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago, scheduled to open in March, 2004.
