SEMINOLE HARD ROCK HOTEL AND CASINO - HOLLYWOOD FL

Grand Opening: The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino opened its doors May 11th this year with thousands of attendees, including local residents of Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties, the press and local and regional politicians.The Seminole Tribe of Florida owns and operates the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casinos in Hollywood and Tampa, according to terms of a licensing agrement with Hard Rock International. An elected Tribal Council, chaired by Mitchell Cypress, governs five reservations throughout Florida and provides benefits and services to more than 3,000 members. The opening ceremonies were led by Jim Allen, CEO of Gaming Operations for the Seminole Tribe of Florida, included the traditional smashing of an acoustic guitar, Hard Rock style.
