SHOWTEL @ HOTEL BIBA - Belvedere Road West Palm Beach FL

We were happy to find SHOWTEL and it's founder Kara Walker-Tome. Each year, SHOWTEL produces an installlation art show at Hotel Biba in West Palm Beach and this year 2000 art lovers showed up. Over 20 of the Hotel Biba rooms are transformed into art installations. Of special note this year we found an incredible shrinking room, thedavidKspace's "the birth of the next cool" iconic style photo session installation with a dozen models primping for famous photographers of the past, a room underwater with sea creatures and all, a room full of pennies "12,458 Cents" by Laura Atria, a room full of oranges and cool video entitled "Oranges" by Melissa Marrero and an alien, Jackie Tufford's, "Metanoia in Winter." If you've been to SHOWTEL before, then you already know how cool it is, but if you haven't, look for next year's show. Bring as many friends and family members as you want to have a great time with. You'll become their favorite "know what's happening around town host." Click images above for pix by ICTV1's Neil London. And for art sakes, don't miss next year's SHOWTEL. Bravo Kara ! more please.
